SnapDM respects your privacy and gives users a clear way to request deletion of their SnapDM account and associated personal data.
This Data Deletion Policy explains how SnapDM users can request account deletion, what data may be deleted, what data may be retained for legal or security reasons, and how long the deletion process may take.

How to Request Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your SnapDM account and associated data using any of the following methods:
Option 1: In-App Account Deletion
Open the SnapDM app and go to:
Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account
Follow the instructions shown in the app to submit your account deletion request.
Option 2: Web Request
If you are unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by contacting us through:

Please include the following details in your request:
· Your registered email address
· Your SnapDM account name, if available
· Your connected Instagram account username, if available
· A clear request such as: “Please delete my SnapDM account and associated data.”
After receiving your request, we may ask you to verify your identity before processing deletion to protect your account from unauthorized requests.
What Data Will Be Deleted
When your account deletion request is verified and processed, SnapDM will delete or anonymize personal data associated with your account, including where applicable:
· Account profile details
· Login and authentication-related account data
· Connected Instagram account information stored in SnapDM
· Instagram access tokens or connection data stored by SnapDM
· Automation settings and workflows
· Comment-to-DM automation data
· Keyword automation data
· Lead capture records
· Contact tags and contact-related data stored inside SnapDM
· Notification preferences and push token data
· Usage and product activity data linked to your account
· Creator tools data linked to your account, where applicable
Data Shared With Service Providers
SnapDM may use trusted service providers for hosting, database, analytics, payment processing, notifications, automation, customer support, and other product operations.
When you request account deletion, we will delete your account data from SnapDM systems and, where applicable, request deletion or removal of associated data from relevant service providers, subject to their own data processing and retention rules.
Data We May Retain
Some limited data may be retained when required for legitimate business, legal, tax, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or regulatory compliance purposes.
This may include:
· Payment, invoice, billing, or transaction records
· Security logs
· Abuse prevention records
· Legal compliance records
· Support communications related to deletion or disputes
· Records required to protect SnapDM, users, or third parties
Any retained data will be kept only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it is retained and will not be used for general marketing or product personalization after account deletion.
Subscription and Billing
Deleting your SnapDM account may not automatically cancel active subscriptions or payment obligations handled by third-party payment providers.
If you have an active paid subscription, please cancel your subscription from your SnapDM billing section or contact us at hello@snapdmapp.com before requesting deletion.
Processing Time
We aim to process verified account deletion requests within 30 days of receiving all required information.
In some cases, deletion may take longer if additional verification is required or if we are legally required to retain certain records.
After Account Deletion
Once your account is deleted:
· You may lose access to your SnapDM account permanently
· Your automations may stop working
· Connected Instagram automation workflows may be removed
· Your saved leads, contacts, workflows, and account settings may no longer be recoverable
· You may need to create a new account if you want to use SnapDM again
